France Bans Smoking in Public Places
Starting February 1 French people will no longer be allowed to smoke in public buildings and offices.
Other European countries, such as Italy, Spain and Ireland, have already banned smoking.
In January 2008 France will outlaw smoking in casinos, restaurants, cafes and hotels.
