A Man Traveled With Severe Tuberculosis

An American man traveled to Europe last month, even though he was carrying a dangerous form of tuberculosis.

Andrew Speaker is a lawyer in the American city of Atlanta, Georgia.

In May he traveled to Europe for his wedding and honeymoon. He visited the countries of France, Greece, Italy and the Czech Republic.

Speaker knew that he had tuberculosis before he traveled.

Several passengers who traveled with Speaker are now being tested for tuberculosis.
