An unknown person has purchased an Airbus A380.

The mystery man bought the 73-meter-long superjumbo jet for his own personal use.

All that is known is that the buyer is not from Europe or the United States.

An A380 is capable of carrying 840 passengers.

The A380 will be in use later this year.
