Thousands Will Carry The Olympic Torch

Close to 22,000 people will carry the Olympic torch to Beijing for the 2008 Olympics.

That is nearly twice as many people who carried the torch during the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.

The Olympic torch will travel through five continents on its way from Athens to Beijing - beginning on March 25, 2008.

It will even be taken to the top of Mount Everest.
