Carlos Slim Is The Wealthiest Person

For the first time in 13 years Bill Gates is not the world's richest person.

The Microsoft boss was surpassed this year by Mexican Carlos Slim, who is said to be worth $67.8 billion, according to the Sentido Comun newspaper.

Gates is worth about $59.2 billion.

Slim owns America Movil, Latin America's largest mobile telephone company.
