An Alzheimer's Patch

The United States government has approved a skin patch designed to help people with Alzheimer's.

The Swiss company Novartis is the maker of the new patch, which contains the same drug found in capsules that treat Alzheimer's.

It is not a cure for Alzheimer's. Its goal is to treat mild and moderate forms of dementia.
