A Business Is Criticized Online

The boss of an American company sent over a thousand messages to Internet sites in which he criticized another company.

John Mackey, the CEO of Whole Foods Market, attacked Wild Oats Markets on Internet message boards.

In one message he wrote: "The company has no value and no future."

Mackey, who used another name when he wrote the messages, made an offer to buy the rival company for $565 million earlier this year.
