Was Beethoven Killed?

A pathologist in Vienna believes Ludwig van Beethoven was killed by his doctor.

Christian Reiter claimed this week in a magazine article that Beethoven's physician gave him too much lead while trying to cure the famous composer of a liver disease.

Reiter does not believe the doctor killed Beethoven intentionally.

However, other researchers claim that this is not the case. Beethoven had been sick for many years before his death in 1827.
