David Beckham may miss the remainder of this year's soccer season due to an injury to his right knee.

The injury occurred during an American soccer game on Wednesday night.

Beckham will not be able to play for the English national team, either.

Earlier this year Beckham had to miss several games after he hurt his left ankle.
