Living in a Motel

David and Jean Davidson checked into a motel 22 years ago and have not left.

Although they have their own flat, the British pensioners prefer to stay at a motel because they do not have to cook or wash.

The Davidsons exchange presents with the motel staff every Christmas.

The couple has spent $200,000 on their motel room, which they say is cheaper and safer than living in their own home.
