EBay Won't Sell Belgium

A former journalist placed the country of Belgium on the Internet auction site eBay.

Belgium was offered as a country in three parts. The country was first offered for a price of one euro. However, it later received a bid of 10 million euros.

The auction occurred at a time when Belgians are seriously discussing the future of their country.

EBay took the auction down earlier this week.
