A Grandfather Can't Buy Wine
A 72-year-old man was not allowed to buy alcohol at an English supermarket this week.
When Tony Ralls, a white-haired grandfather, tried to purchase a bottle of wine, a woman at the store asked him to show proof that he was over 21.
"It's bureaucracy gone mad," Ralls said, after he was asked to give the bottle back.
Staff at the store must ask everyone who buys alcohol to prove that he or she is over 21.
