The Dracula Story Is Not Over
Listen here
The question of who should own "Dracula's Castle" is being discussed in Romania.
Bran Castle was owned by the state during Communism. Last year, it was returned to Dominic Habsburg, whose family owned the castle.
Habsburg would now like to sell the castle back. The Romanian parliament, however, says his price is too high and that the original sale to Habsburg was illegal.
A European court might have to decide who should be given ownership of the castle.
Half a million people visit the castle each year.
Bram Stoker's 1897 horror novel
Dracula
was written about Prince Vlad the Impaler, a warlord who spent a night at the castle in the 15th century.
