Ice Hockey in London

England is not a place we often associate with ice hockey.

Nevertheless, ice hockey has become increasingly popular throughout the United Kingdom in the past decade.

On Saturday, two teams from the National Hockey League played the first game of their season in London. The National Hockey League is North America's top professional league.

This was the first time the NHL has played games in Europe. However, they have played games in Japan.
