A 13-Year Trip Around the World

Jason Lewis has returned home to England after a journey that took him 13 years to complete.

He is the first person to travel around the world on human power alone. There were no sails or motors. He walked, swam, paddled, rollerbladed and bicycled 74,000 kilometers.

Along the way he had to escape robbers, snakes and crocodiles. He also broke both his legs in the United States when he was hit by a car.

He said he would now like to relax a little bit.
