A Canine Wedding

Two dogs got married this week in Peru as part of World Animal Day celebrations.

The wedding was attended by several other dogs and their owners.

World Animal Day is celebrated every year on October 4, the feast day of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.

The day is meant to promote good care of animals and prevent cruelty to animals.
