Vandals Punched a Hole in a Monet

A group of people broke into a Paris museum and punched a hole in a painting by Claude Monet on Sunday.

The four men and a woman, who are believed to have been drunk, created a 10-centimeter hole in the painting, entitled "The Argenteuil Bridge". Monet created the painting in 1874.

France's Minister of Culture called the vandalism "an attack against our memory and our heritage."
