Chicago Marathon Stopped

The Chicago marathon had to be stopped on Sunday as temperatures rose above 30 degrees Celsius.

One runner died and hundreds of others became ill due to the high temperatures.

Several parts of the United States have been experiencing unusually warm weather this week. New York City had its warmest October day ever on Monday.
