Janet Jackson seems to be everywhere these days.

The ubiquitous star is coming out with a new album, writing a book and appearing in a new film.

Her book is about her struggle with weight loss. She told The Associated Press that she wanted to write about losing weight because ""so many people have asked me about it and how did I do it".

She is also starring in "Why Did I Get Married?", the most successful movie this weekend in the United States.

Her album will be released in 2008.
