An Unexpected Visitor

Blaine Harling was visiting his grandparents in Alaska last week when he heard a noise in the middle of the night.

He thought it was a burglar. Instead, what he saw as he went into the kitchen was a large black bear which was standing one meter away from him.

The bear had entered the home through an open window.

Blaine ran upstairs and called Alaskan officials. They came to the house and used a siren to make a loud noise. The noise scared the bear, and it ran back into the forest.
