Cheney and Obama Are Related

Dick Cheney and Barack Obama have very little in common politically.

Cheney is a conservative and Obama, who is running for president as a Democrat, is a liberal.

However, Cheney's wife Lynne announced on Tuesday that the two men are related.

Each man has a common ancestor in a French immigrant who came to America in the 17th century.

This makes them eighth cousins.
