A French engineer believes he knows the reason why Mona Lisa has no eyebrows or eyelashes.

Pascal Cotte believes restoration of Leonardo Da Vinci's painting caused Mona Lisa's brows and lashes to fade.

He spent 3,000 hours studying the painting by using digital scans.
