A Retiree Wanted to See the Water

A retired German man was not happy that trees in a public forest were blocking his view of the sea.

Thus, the pensioner decided to take action. He used a chainsaw to cut down 122 trees which were situated between his cottage and the Baltic Sea.

He caused 15,000 euros worth of damage.
