A Language May Never Be Spoken Again

Listen here

The last two speakers of a Latin American language have stopped talking to each other, according to a report on the BBC.

The two men, who are both in their seventies, spoke a rare, ancient language called Ayapan Zoque. The language was spoken in the Mexican state of Tabasco.

The two men refuse to speak to each other for personal reasons. One man is wealthy, the other is poor. There are now concerns that the language may never be heard again.
