Super Mario Is More Popular Than the Canadian PM

There was bad news this week for the Canadian prime minister. More Canadians recognize Super Mario than Stephen Harper.

In a survey conducted by Nintendo of Canada, the Italian plumber was better known than any of the country's top politicians.

"Canadian politicians are lucky Mario doesn't have his Canadian citizenship and could campaign for office," said Ron Bertram, general manager of Nintendo of Canada.
