Beckham Is Dropped From the Team

England manager Steve McClaren has decided not to use David Beckham in Wednesday night's game against Croatia.

Beckham injured his ankle in a game in the United States earlier in the year.

The England team must win or draw this game if they are to qualify for the Euro 2008 soccer tournament.
