Police Arrest Canoeist

On Tuesday, we presented a story about John Darwin, who went missing after a canoe accident in 2002.

Darwin went into a London police station on Saturday and said he could not remember anything that has happened to him in the past five years.

Yesterday, however, a picture taken last year of Darwin and his wife in Panama appeared in several newspapers.

Police have now arrested Darwin as it seems that his story was not true.

This year, his wife sold their two homes for $1 million, received his life insurance and moved to Panama permanently.
