The Queen Is the Oldest Monarch

Queen Elizabeth II has become the oldest person to be king or queen in Britain.

She is now older than her great-great grandmother Queen Victoria was when she died. Victoria lived 81 years, seven months and 29 days.

Her majesty became queen in 1952.
