Nobody expected Hillary Clinton to win yesterday's primary election in the American state of New Hampshire.

(A primary election is held in each American state to decide who will be the presidential candidate for each party.)

Mrs. Clinton is a Democrat. John McCain won the Republican primary.

Barack Obama was expected to win the Democratic primary on Tuesday.
