Kayakers Have Arrived in New Zealand

In November, we wrote a story about two young men who planned to be the first people to travel from Australia to New Zealand by kayak.

After 62 days, Justin Jones and James Castrission arrived at their destination on Sunday.

A large crowd greeted them upon their arrival.

The kayaking pair had hoped to reach New Zealand by Christmas. However, strong winds and tides forced them to change their original route.
