Space Travel for the Rich

A British company demonstrated the design of its new spacecraft in New York on Wednesday.

Virgin Galactic will allow paying passengers to travel into space later this year.

"2008 is going to be the year of the spaceship," said Sir Richard Branson, the owner of the company.

The experience will not be cheap. Passengers will pay $200,000 for a ride that lasts two and a half hours.

The first space flight will take place later this year.
