South Korean Landmark Is Ruined by Fire

A huge fire has destroyed a 600-year-old gate in the South Korean capital of Seoul.

The Great South Gate is considered to be one of the country's national treasures.

Police believe that the fire may have been caused by arson.

"It's like losing a family member. I never imagined it would burn down so helplessly," one person who witnessed the blaze told the AFP news agency.
