An Expensive Trip
Listen here
Violinist David Garrett will have to perform without his $1 million instrument.
Garrett broke his violin when he fell down the stairs after a performance in London on Wednesday.
The instrument was made in 1772 by Giovanni Guadagnini, who was a student of the great violin maker Antonio Stradivari.
The violin will take at least eight months to repair. However, it may never regain its original sound.
