Tom Foley does not look like one of the fastest runners in the world.

Nevertheless, he is able to run 100 meters in under 10 seconds.

The 50-year-old accountant will represent the United States at the Olympics in Beijing this summer.

Foley, who smokes 12 cigars a day, first took up running three years ago.

"He is one of the most talented sprinters I have ever seen. I think he has a good chance of winning the gold medal," said his coach Brian Day.
