April Fool's Day 2008

Tuesday was April Fool's Day, a day in which people try
to trick
others into believing something that is not true.
Here are some of the jokes which were played yesterday:
- WestJet, a Canadian airline, said passengers can sleep in the overhead luggage compartments by paying an extra $12.
- The Independent, a British newspaper, wrote that a chef would not allow people
to swear
in his restaurants. If they did, then they would have to pay a fine.
- The Sun newspaper reported that French President Nicolas Sarkozy is going to see a doctor who could make him 12 centimeters taller.
- Simple English News also tried an April Fool's joke
