The Newseum

The Newseum, a museum about news, will open on Friday in Washington, D.C.

Thousands of historic newspaper front pages and famous news photographs will be on display.

The museum, which cost $450 million to build and features 14 galleries on seven floors, follows the history of printed news, from the 13th century to the modern era of satellite television and the Internet.
