The Pope's Message of Peace

Pope Benedict XVI has urged the nations of the world to decrease the amount of money they spend on the military.

"I renew my appeal so that nations reduce their military spending for arms and seriously consider the idea of creating a worldwide fund for peaceful development projects for peoples," said the Pope.

The Pope will begin a visit to the United States on Tuesday.
