The Real Red Bull Will Finally Be Sold in France

Red Bull will soon be available in French stores in its original form after a 13-year ban, according to a report in the French newspaper Le Figaro.

The French government prohibited the energy drink because it contained taurine. There is little information available about the health effects of taurine.

Before the ban was lifted, the drink was sold in France with caffeine and without taurine.

French Health Minster Roselyne Bachelot said she has "serious reservations about Red Bull. She asked parents to boycott the drink.

One can of Red Bull has as much caffeine in it as a shot of espresso.
