The people of Iceland took the day off from work on Friday to watch their men's handball team defeat Spain.

It has been called the greatest sporting success in Iceland's history. Iceland has a population of 300,000 people.

(Iceland lost to France in the final on Sunday. However, Icelanders are thrilled that their team is bringing home a silver medal.)
