Never in Mao's imagination did he expect the Chinese being this united under one goal, and it's not about making China the most dominant country on Earth. The most ironic part here is that the Chinese people - all 1 billion of them - on learning the language of the race they once considered an enemy. Yes, Mad About English chronicles the groundbreaking and usually funny side of the once-traditional Chinese making a mass movement to learn English. All these to better welcome the participants of the upcoming Olympics. It's a movie that goes beyond usual human enigmas such as overwhelming number of loans, loss of loved ones, quest for love, etc.
