Awaking from Winter Hibernation. Scarecrows Get Ready for Annual Competition in Haxby and Wigginton, England.

The 2016 Scarecrow Festival will take place over the Bank Holiday weekend, from 30th April – 2nd May.

Everyone is invited to make and display real scarecrows in their village garden or shop windows.

The most innovative and attractive scarecrows will be awarded prizes.

All profits will be shared between St Leonard’s Hospice and other local charities. Please give generously.

In 2015 almost £5000 pounds was raised.
