Having saved up this book until I traveled on holiday to China, I thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘Elizabeth, Empress of Austria. Congratulations to the author for a fantastic read. I could not put my e-book down.

I was recommended ‘A Walk on Broken Glass ‘ by my brother who knows that I like history.
I found the book very interesting. The characters came alive through the skilful writing.
It gave a vivid picture of the Habsburg court in Vienna during the 19th century.
The author has taken a different approach by looking at this period from a women’s point of view, demonstrably showing how a woman could influence international affairs at that time.
