The tragedy which took place off the coast of Italy three weeks ago is not likely to stop people from traveling by sea.

In fact, Carnival Cruise Lines is presently offering a three-day cruise to the Bahamas for $189 on its website. Other packages to the Bahamas and the Caribbean can be found for under $300.

With fine dining, quality entertainment and elegant lodging, many cruise ships these days have become like traveling cities on the sea.

Simple English News spoke with the Japan Tourism Agency today. We found out that the agency will be offering free round-trip air tickets to Japan starting in April 2012.

The exact number of free trips has not been decided, although some newspapers have put the number at 10,000.

Applications for the free trips will start at the beginning of next year and can be found on the Japan Tourism Agency’s website.

The free trips will last until March 2013.

The Spa at La Mamounia hotel in Marrakech finished first. The spa, which was recently renovated, is known for its architecture and traditional treatments.

The hotel also hired top French, Italian and Moroccan chefs to cook at its restaurants.

Rooms at the hotel can cost several hundred dollars a night.

Bloomberg Businessweek has listed 30 cities where your money will not go very far, and Tokyo came out on top of the list.

According to the report, a quick lunch in the Japanese capital costs almost $21.00, a movie ticket is nearly $24, and a beer at a bar is over $10.

Oslo, Norway finished second on the list. Three other Japanese cities placed in the top ten.

The Allure of the Seas is the world’s largest cruise ship.

It is 360 meters long, 16 decks high and can accommodate up to 6,400 passengers.
