A man in southeast Hungary picked the wrong time to take a nap.

According to a report in the Hungarian media, the man broke into a local pub and helped himself to a glass of vodka and a bottle of beer.

He then placed a bottle of vodka and a beer into a bag. However, he was so tired that he fell asleep before he left the bar.

When the owner of the pub arrived the next morning, he saw the man lying on the floor. Police had no problem arresting the man.

Visitors to Hungary might be surprised when they see the word “barack” written on packages of toilet paper in local shops.

This is not a joke about the American president. Instead, the word barack in Hungarian means peach.

Therefore, a customer would be buying an item that is scented like a fruit.

A burglar in a western German town tried to copy a trick he had seen on television.

He attempted to break into someone’s apartment using his credit card.

Unfortunately for him, the owner of the flat woke up, and the thief ran away – breaking his credit card in half as did so.

The owner picked up the card, which had the thief’s name on it, and called the police.

The police then went to the thief’s house where they found the other half of the card on the kitchen table.

If you like the song “Smoke on the Water”, then the American city of Kansas City, Kansas was the place to be on Sunday.

A total of 1,683 people went to the city to play the song that was made popular by the rock group Deep Purple in the 1970s.

People came from as far away as Germany to play the song on the guitar.

Together they set a new world record for the number of people playing the same song.

There was bad news this week for the Canadian prime minister. More Canadians recognize Super Mario than Stephen Harper.

In a survey conducted by Nintendo of Canada, the Italian plumber was better known than any of the country’s top politicians.

“Canadian politicians are lucky Mario doesn’t have his Canadian
citizenship and could campaign for office,” said Ron Bertram, general manager of Nintendo of Canada.

Joey Chestnut was very hungry on Saturday.

The 23-year-old man was able to eat 59 hot dogs in just 12 minutes during a contest in the American state of Arizona.

This is a new world record. The previous record was 52 hot dogs.

Chestnut said that he “loves to eat.”

Earlier this year Chestnut ate 182 chicken wings in 30 minutes.

The Hungarian website BEOL has reported that a stork caused the power to go out in the town of Gyula on Friday.

The stork was making a nest on top of a pole.

However, some twigs fell on one of the power lines and caused the power to go out in homes and businesses.

Power has now been restored.

The stork, meanwhile, has decided to build its nest somewhere else.

Rice at a wedding is believed to bring good luck to a couple and its children.

However, the mayor of Venice would like to lower the number of pigeons living in the city. The pigeons feed on the rice.

There are 40,000 pigeons living in historic center of the city.

An Italian man has been fined $300 because his rooster was waking people up too early.

According to a report on Reuters, residents of an Italian village complained about the noise.

The owner of the rooster, however, hopes that he can convince officials in the town that he should not have to pay the fine.

He said he needs at least one rooster to breed chickens.
