We tend to think of beauty contests (or beauty pageants) as competitions which decide the physical beauty of women.

However, according to a report on Reuters, a tribe in Saudi Arabia is having a contest to find the most beautiful camel.

And how will judges decide the winner of Miss Camel?

“The nose should be long and droop down, that’s more beautiful,” Sultan al-Qahtani, one of the organizers of the event, said.

“The ears should stand back, and the neck should be long. The hump should be high, but slightly to the back.”

The boy king, whose tomb was discovered in 1922, fell off a chariot while he was hunting game.

He broke his leg. This injury caused blood poisoning.

Before this discovery, it was thought that Tutankhamun might have been murdered.

A German boy and girl, aged six and seven, were planning to elope to Africa last week.

According to a report in The Sun, Mika and Anna-Lena packed their suitcases and were seen waiting for a train to the airport in Hanover, Germany.

The two lovebirds brought Anna-Lena’s five-year-old sister Anna-Bell on the trip to be a witness.

Police officers found the young couple and told them that it would be difficult for them to travel to Africa without any money or a plane ticket. They were returned to their parents.

It is often thought that women speak more than men.

However, a new study at the University of Arizona contradicts that belief.

The conversations of 400 students were recorded. The results showed that the women in the study spoke an average of 16,215 words a day, whereas the men spoke a daily average of 15,669 words.

The amount a person speaks does not depend on a person’s sex, according to the study. Rather, it depends on whether the person is an introvert or an extrovert.

Financial troubles caused Jessica Osbourne to drop out of college last year.

Now the 20-year-old who worked as a waitress at a Pizza Hut restaurant in the American state of Indiana will be returning to school after a customer left her a $10,000 tip.

The customer said Jessica was “bright and cheerful, and never complained.”

Jessica has not decided whether to study photography or journalism when she returns to college.

A Japanese firm is offering couples a chance to have a wedding they will never forget.

According to reports in Japanese newspapers, First Advantage, a Tokyo-based wedding company, is giving couples the opportunity to get married in space.

A couple will pay $2.3 million to fly 100 kilometers into space for a journey that takes an hour. A priest and two guests will accompany the couple on the flight.

A wedding dress, a wedding party and hotel rooms are also included in the cost. The bride and groom must finish four days of training before they are allowed into space.

Bob and Betty Matas love their two cats.

The retired couple from New York City did not want  them to be cold in an airplane as they moved to their new home in Arizona.

Therefore, they hired cab driver Douglas Guldeniz to take their cats on the 4,000-kilometer journey.

The entire fare was $3,000, plus gas, meals and lodging.
