Christmas is not celebrated by Christians only nowadays.This special holiday used to be celebrated in honor of the birth of Jesus Christ and only among the Christians,but in recent years,youngsters from Asia began to celebrate it every year.They have Christmas just like the western people,except that they don’t go to the church,because there are no churches in Asian countries.
That is not quite true: there are churches in many Asian countries, as far as I know. I myself have known Christians in Japan, Indonesia and China, but I believe they are often required to keep a low profile. According to Wikipedia there have been Christians in China since the 7th century.
There are so many churches in Asian countries.
Christmax has been socialized for a long time, it becomes a holiday for everybody all over the world.
In China more and more people enjoy Christmas, too. When i went shopping in super markets i saw shop assistants having red hats on their heads, greeting customers. Small Christmas trees were standing on the counters. Chinese red lanterns were hung to give more holiday atmosphere. It is good combination of Eastern and Western cultures. With more and more communication China will embrace more western way of life and vice versa. This is a small world. People from different cultures live in this global village harmoniously and in peace. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!
