The oldest Olympian proved that he went to Beijing to compete and not to sightsee.

Canadian Ian Millar, 61, collected a silver medal in the show jumping competition.

Millar has competed in nine Olympics. However, this was the first time he has received a medal.

to sightsee: to look at places of interest, especially as a visitor or tourist.
