Dozens of Czech Beers All in One Place
With a history of brewing that goes back more than 1,000 years, the Czechs have developed a strong reputation throughout the world for their beers.
Every year Prague hosts the Czech Beer Festival, an event that showcases beers from some of the finest breweries in the Czech Republic.
This year’s festival* will take place from May 15 – 31 and will feature more than 100 different beers on tap – as well as 40 live music acts.
• Admission to the festival is 90 Czech korunas (about $4.50) on weekends and weekdays after 2 pm. One can enter for free before 2 pm on weekdays. Visitors over 65 and children under 15 can enter for free. One must be at least 18 years of age to consume alcohol in the Czech Republic.
