Faster Ice Skates

Some American hockey players are starting to use ice skates which help them skate faster.
A Canadian company called Thermablade has developed the product. The blades on the new skates are heated with a battery to 5 degrees Celsius, just above freezing. This allows a skater to move on the ice at a faster speed.
Wayne Gretzky, one of the greatest hockey players in history, is a big supporter of the new skates.
