More British Than the British

When you walk down the streets of Victoria, you might think that you are in England.

Although Victoria is located in western Canada, the city is often described as “more British than the British.”

Tea rooms, double-decker buses and beautiful gardens can be seen throughout the city.

It is not uncommon to see rugby and cricket matches in Victoria, either.

The weather in Victoria is similar to that of the United Kingdom as well. Unlike the rest of Canada, it rarely snows in Victoria.
