Recipe: Sicilian Baked Spaghetti



1 pound ground pork or beef
3 ounces of bacon
an onion
small can of tomato paste (about 3 or 4 ounces)
2 tomatoes
2 green peppers or paprika
4 cloves of garlic
salt and pepper to taste
one pound package of spaghetti


Cook spaghetti according to box instructions. Fry the bacon and the onion. Cook for a minute or two and then add the ground meat, chopped garlic, salt and pepper. When the meat is cooked, add tomato paste, tomatoes and green peppers. Mix with spaghetti and bake in a casserole dish for 30 minutes at medium temperature.
